Security Engineering
Assessing weaknesses and fixing them are different disciplines. Engineering engagements implement approved, practical security improvements, with documentation and validation, after scope and impact are understood.
What engineering engagements cover
Network Security Engineering
Segmentation, firewall rule cleanup, and remote access improvements.
Identity & Access Engineering
Conditional Access, privileged access, and least-privilege implementation.
Microsoft 365 Security Configuration
Implementing approved Entra ID, Defender, and tenant hardening changes.
Endpoint Security Engineering
EDR deployment, attack surface reduction, and device compliance policy.
Security Baseline Implementation
Rolling out CIS-aligned configuration baselines across approved systems.
Security Architecture Improvements
Implementing approved changes to trust boundaries and control placement.
Vulnerability Remediation
Hands-on remediation of findings identified during an assessment.
Firewall & Segmentation Improvements
Implementing approved network boundary and segmentation changes.
Security Logging Integration
Connecting log sources to improve detection and investigation readiness.
Cloud Security Hardening
Implementing approved Azure configuration and control improvements.
How engineering engagements are scoped
Every engineering engagement accounts for scope, technical prerequisites, change approval, configuration backups where applicable, rollback considerations, implementation documentation, validation, and a clear customer handoff. We don't implement changes we can't deliver safely, and we don't promise capabilities beyond what a given engagement can support.
Assessment first, when it matters
Most engineering work follows an assessment, so changes are driven by documented findings rather than guesswork. If you already know what needs fixing, we can scope engineering work directly.
